The Nigerian singer continues to put into image the tracks from his latest EP “Afrosoul”, released in May 2020.
Afrosoul was a successful “fusion of afrobeats and electronic/soul sounds”, that won over a large public. After all, WurlD wasn’t at his first try: after a joint project with the great Sarz, the 7-track EP had enabled him to reach a new level in his musical journey.
Always faithful to his artistic line, in “Wayo (Kpe Le Wu)”, WurlD sings Afrobeats in his own way, adding elements of soul. The track was produced by famous beatmaker Kel-P, known for his central role on Burna Boy’s classic African Giant.
The video, directed by WurlD himself and Baba Agba, features him as the star of a disco/pop club. With an appearance that will definitely remind you of Michael Jackson, the artist smoothly seduces one of the spectators. “Wayo (Kpe Le Wu)” is the third music video from the project after “Love Nobody” and “Ghost Town” that the singer performed on Colors.
